BARLOW, CLAUDE

Died 7:41 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 1987, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 90, a native of Copiah County, Miss., and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home, Zachary, 10 a.m. until religious services, 1:30 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Danny Hawthorne. Burial in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb, Miss.

Survived by wife, Maggie Ruth Barlow, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Dorothy B. Blackstone, Arabi, and Nettie Barnes, Baton Rouge; a half-sister, Quinnie Travis, Jackson; and three brothers, Quitman Barlow, Kenner, Quin Barlow, Hammond, and Hollis Barlow, Waverland, Miss.

Preceded in death by first wife, Mai Jones Barlow.

He was a member of North Highland Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Walton J. Barnes, Walton J. Barnes II, Richard N. Barnes, Bernard A. Blackstone, Mike West and Arnold T. Stevens.
