Two New Orleans Men Die When Bomber Fails in Florida

Jacksonville, Fla., June 27 (AP). -- Names of the 13 men who were killed yesterday in the crash of a navy PBY bomber in the St. Johns river near here were announced lyast [sic last] night by the officials at the naval air station.

Lieut. Mark M. Bolin, 29, U.S.N., of Cordele, Ga., hero of the rescue of 13 survivors from a life boat in the South Atlantic last year, for which he received the air medal, was among the victims.

Among those who lost their lives in the crash were:
Staff Sergeant Claude C. Cody, U. S. Army Air Force, of Grayson, Caldwell parish, La., and John Robert Ayres, 17, aviation radioman third class, New Orleans, La.
