Claude Kemp Dies
Claude E. Kemp, 73, of Route 4 Forest died Monday afternoon after an extended illness.
A native of Rankin county, he had lived in Scott county for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Baldwin Chapel with Rev. Oscar Byrd officiating. Interment will be in the Old Crystal Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Kemp is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. D. Lawson of Florence, Mrs. Colon McBeth of Carthage and Mrs. Clinton Boydston of Harperville; one brother, Herbert N. Kemp of Jackson; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
