CLAUDE E. GOFORTH
CLAUDE E. GOFORTH, 74, of Memphis, retired baker for Colonial Baking Co., died of heart failure Wednesday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery Midtown.
He was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church and past president of the Bakery and Confectionery Union.
Mr. Goforth, the widower of Louella Goforth, leaves two daughters, Patricia Junge of Eads and Debra Lewis of Lakeland; two sons, Gerald Martin of Lexington,Ky., and Gene Martin of Temple, Texas, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
