Survivors include her daughter, Janice Thompson and husband Jimmy of Dodson, LA., her son, Richard Buchan of Quitman, LA., three granddaughters, Susie Lasyone and husband Cody of Atlanta, LA., Sarah Pepper and husband Clint of West Monroe, LA., and Jody Womack and husband Chuck of Quitman, LA.; nine great grandchildren, Taylor Laysone, Addisyn,Clyde and July Pepper, Carly Buchan, Lauren Jones, Leslie Jones, Levi Jones, and Forest Buchan.; three great-great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Presley Kate, and Aubrey.

Mrs. Shows was preceded in death by her parents, Abel and Mary Chaddick, her husband W.D. Shows, daughter-in-law Linda Buchan, grandson, Rodney Buchan, and eight sisters, and one brother.
