WHITTINGTON, CLAYTON F.

Died 10 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 29, at Lake Mary, Miss. Age 49, he was a native of Amite County and a resident of Liberty. He was a timber contractor. Body at Brown Funeral Home, Liberty. Religious service at Liberty Baptist Church, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1. Interment in Liberty Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nannie Foreman Whittington; three sons, Glen Whittington, New Orleans; W. L. Whittington, Cleveland, Miss. and Garland Whittington, Natchez, Miss.; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Wilkinson, Baker; Miss Patsy Whittington, Baton Rouge; Miss Peggy Whittington, Liberty; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Williams and Mrs. Margie McCaa, both of Natchez; two brothers, Floyd of Gloster and Chad Whittington of Natchez, and two grandsons.

He was a member of Grave's Chapel.
