Death Claims Mrs. Cleo Temple Jones, Bayou Vista, LA, on April 04, 1999

Cleo Temple Jones, 80, a Winn Parish native from the Cypress Creek Community near Dodson, LA, and a resident of Bayou Vista, LA, died Monday, April 05, 1999, from a heart ailment at her home. She was a member of Bayou Vista Baptist Church, LA, and previously a member of the Cypress Creek Baptist Church near Dodson, LA.

Funeral services were held today at the Hargrave Funeral Home chapel in Morgan City, LA. Burial was at the Cypress Creek Cemetery in the Cypress Creek Community.

Mrs. Jones is survived by three sons, Thomas L. Jones and wife Elna Hardee Jones of Dallas, TX, Edwin Errol Jones and wife Rose Eubanks Jones of Casper, WY, and Gary Allen Jones of Mobile, AL; one daughter, Lynda Ann Jones Favret and her husband Bernard “Ben” Favret of Mandeville, LA; one brother, Odell Temple of Winnfield, LA; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover C, Sr. and Hallie Jones Temple; one daughter, Patsy Earl Jones; one sister, LaVera Temple Walker; and two brothers, Billy Maxwell Temple and Grover C Temple, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bayou Vista Baptist Church, Bayou Vista, LA, in her name.
