Cliff Watkins
PHILADELPHIA, Miss. - Cliff Watkins died Sunday, April 20, 2003, at his home. He was 99.
A native of Leake County, Mr. Watkins was a longtime resident of the Dixon Community in Neshoba County. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Gainey Watkins; and a son, Homer Watkins.
Survivors include four daughters, Jean Schmidt of McComb, Miss., Faye McNemar Gambrell of Vicksburg, Ann Lawrence of Cherry Lake, Fla., and Nell Green of Philadelphia; three sisters, Nettie Ford, Loca Watkins and Alma Fryery, all of Vicksburg; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia. Burial will follow at Green Acres Cemetery in Vicksburg.
Visitation will be from 5 untl 8 tonight at the funeral home.
