Clifford E. Allen

RAYVILLE - Services for Clifford E. Allen, 58, of Start, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 1990, in the chapel of Brown-Holley Funeral Home with the Rev. Winford Johnson and Rev. Mark Parker officiating.

Burial followed in the Start Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley of Rayville.

Mr. Allen, a resident of the Start Community, was a member of the Start Assembly of God Church. He was a painter by trade.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Doris Boykin Allen of Start; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford Ray and Pat Allen of Houma, and Gary and Shelia Allen of Start; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Stanley Groan and Tammy and Edward Woodard, all of Start; one brother, Hulen Allen of Start; three sisters, Mrs. Bernice Parker, Mrs. Annie Ruth Tarver and Mrs. Margie Herrington, all of Start; her [sic his] mother, Mrs. Sallie Allen of Start; and three grand[d]aughters and five grandsons.

Pallbearers were Howard Conley, Fred Cumpton, Larry Allen, Kenny Allen, Danny Williams and Donald Hutto.
