Clifford L. Knippers

PROVENCAL -- Clifford Lester Knippers, 61, of Provencal died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday in the residence of Larry Wester.

He was a retired depot agent for Texas Pacific Railroad Co. and a native of Sabine Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Effie Knippers of Provencal; one son, Reuben Knippers of Provencal; one daughter, Mary Roberts of Provencal; three sisters, Marie Seaman of Oklahoma City, Inez Sanders of Bossier City and Edna Orsborne of West Virginia; four brothers, John Knippers of Oklahoma City, Leroy Knippers of Jasper, Texas, Eugene Knippers of Georgia and Charles Manasco of California; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Provencal Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Keith Layne officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel, Florien, under direction of Blanchard-St. Denis, Natchitoches.
