Clifton Earl Chisholm
(January 20, 1935 - February 23, 2010)

Clifton Earl Chisholm, 75, a longtime resident of Denham Springs, died February 23, 2010 at his home surrounded by family and friends. He was born January 20, 1935 in Franklin County Mississippi . He was the son of William and Aline Chisholm. He was retired from his family business, Cliff's Plumbing and then worked part time with his son at T-N-T Plumbing . He was a a special, generous, kind and loving man to family and friends. He will be remembered with love by his family and friends. He was surely a one of a kind man.

He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Frank, Junior and Prentiss; two grandsons, John Clifton and DeWayne Chisholm.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Shirley Freeman Chisholm; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tony Chisholm and Terry and Paula Chisholm; two daughters, Tammy Willeford and husband, Troy and Tracy Bruno; eight grandchildren, Sherry, Shana, Devin, Brandon, Ciara, Savanna, Hunter and Kamron; nine great-grandchildren, Seth, Kaitlyn, Hayleigh, Kloie, Kylee, Tyler, Allie, Kennedi and Jaslyn; one brother, James Chisholm and Irene; one sister, Geraldine Freeman and husband, Donald; three sisters-in-law, Inez Brown, Bobbie Carter and Geneva Muirhead; a very special cousin, Minnie Lea Smith and husband, Lester; a special neighbor and friend, Tommy Cockerham and wife, Sheila and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation is 5PM until 9PM Thursday at Christ Community Church, located at the corner of Florida Blvd. and Eden Church Road in Denham Springs and Friday from 5PM until 8PM at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb and Saturday from 9AM until services at 11AM with Brother Willis Easley and Brother Joe Hammack officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery cemetery in Lincoln County.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Chisholm, Jimmy Freeman, Gerald Wayne Freeman, Cecil ``Pee Wee'' Brown, Tommy Cockerham and Devan Dalgo.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Joe Chisholm, Allen Muirhead and Ricky Muirhead.
