Clifton Ray Parker, 73, of Stringer, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Jasper County Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs, with burial in Liberty Cemetery in Stringer.
He was retired from Georgia Pacific. He served in the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Earline McBay Parker; a brother, James Parker.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Belle Sorey Parker of Stringer; two sons, Kenneth Ray Parker and Douglas Wayne Parker both of Stringer; three brothers, Spurgeon Ray Parker and William Mack Parker both of Stringer and Charles Edward Parker of Biloxi; a sister, Christine Parker Elrod of Sunset, Texas; and four grandchildren.
Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Bay Springs is in charge of arrangements.
