Clinton Crum

Funeral services for Clinton Crum, 69, of Winnsboro will be at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Chase Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ray McMurray and the Rev. Virgil “Bo” Harris officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakley Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mr. Crum was born to the union of James Clinton and Rose Carroll Crum on April 22, 1934 in Fort Necessity and died Monday, November 17, 2003 at his home near Fort Necessity.

Mr. Crum was a member of Chase Pentecostal Church, and was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Ray Crum.

Survivors include seven children, Donald Crum of Transylvania, Ronald Crum of Winnsboro; Delia Stowe of Mangham; Merlie Atcheson and Betty Atcheson both of Tallulah; Tim Crum of Transylvania; Brenda Wileby of Gonzales; one brother, Jerry Crum of Fort Necessity; two sisters, Opal Provance of Lorman, Mississippi; and Katherine Gilley of Fort Necessity; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ed Atcheson, James Atcheson. Brandon Crum, Daniel Crum, Kenneth Crum, Ronald Crum Jr. and Tim Crum.

Visitation will be at the church beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday until time of service today.
