Clovis Parker

CLARKSVILLE -- Clovis R. L. Parker, 58, died in Red River County Hospital Wednesday.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday in the Lindermann Chapel at the Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. A. B. Kellam officiating. Interment will be in Whiterock Cemetery.

He was born in Red River County Sept. 25, 1917 the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Parker. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was employed by International Paper Co. of Clarksville. He was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran.

Survivors include two sons, Donald Ray Parker of Hooks and Alan Parker of Baytown; one step-son, Michael Wise of Baytown; two sisters, Mrs. Sara Wooten of Sacramento, Calif. and Mrs. Elleyeze Gannaway of Texarkana; four grandchildren.
