Mrs. Cloyce Whitehead Delcoure

Services for Cloyce Whitehead Delcoure, 89 of Grayson were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 25th at the Old Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Goodman officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery with the services under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.

Mrs. Cloyce Whitehead Delcoure died on Wednesday, September 22, 1999 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She was born in Kelly, La. on September 27, 1909 to the union of Charles N. Whitehead and Pearl McCarty.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard “Bill” Delcoure and her sister, Muriel W. Moore.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Delcoure of Grayson; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Hanchey of St. Francisville; one brother, Bob Whitehead of Rockwall, Tx., and many nieces and nephews, friends and relatives.

Pallbearers were Ray Jones, Dewey Hemphill, Bobby Whitehead, Glen Hanchey, Benny Ray Cruse, Kipe Hogg, Vella Gene Grany, Tommy Nowlin and Elber Lee Pauley.
