Miss Clyde Byrd Died Tuesday

Miss Clyde Byrd, aged 61, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. E. J. Byrd, died Tuesday in the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, after a short illness. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bearden.

Other survivors include one brother, Dr. Edwin H. Byrd of Leesville, La.; four sisters, Mrs. Eugene McElvaney, Mrs. Dean Whiteside, Mrs. James Lilly, all of Little Rock, and Mrs. Josephine Peppee of Camden; and one step brother, James Justiss of Forrest City; and 14 nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. Services probably will be held Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home.
