BRADY

Clyde Dale Brady, affectionately known as “Jack”, age 82, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Slidell Memorial Hospital after a 10 year battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Mr. Brady was born on May 25, 1925 in Kokomo, Mississippi. He was the son of Joseph Richard Brady and Sarah “Sally” Elizabeth Dunaway and was the fifth born of seven boys. He married Wilma N. Schelp on February 28, 1945 in Los Angeles, California, and was her beloved husband for 62 years. He attended school at Pearl River Junior High School, where he played on the basketball team. He graduated from Warren Easton High School in New Orleans. Clyde was an aviator mechanic and flight crewman for twenty years with the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1966. He was also a postal worker for ten years in the City of Slidell. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many capacities. Mr. Brady was also a Master Mason.

Mr. Brady is survived by his loving wife, Wilma Brady of Pearl River, Louisiana; a son, Danny Ray Brady of McNeil, Mississippi; a daughter, Teresa Brady Gill Ritterbush of Pearl River, Louisiana; eight grandchildren: Robbin Brady, Ray Brady, Jamie Brady, Natasha Gill, Travis Gill, Landon Gill, Jared Gill, and Ryan Ritterbush; and six great-grandchildren: Tyler Brady, Logan Brady, Madeline Gill, Marshall Gill, Ariel Herron and Allison White.

Clyde was preceded in death by six brothers: Hillman and Tilman Brady (twins), Joseph Ray Brady, Richard “Buddy” Brady, Sidney Brady, and Lee M. Brady.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 115 Rue Esplanade, Slidell LA 70461, on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. Interment in Crawford Cemetery in Pearl River.

Visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. At the church, and on Tuesday after 10:00am until funeral time.
