Services

Last rites for Colon L. Lucky were conducted Monday at 3 p.m., from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Hinton Horn officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill cemetery under direction of Mendenhall Funeral Home.

He was a member of the Dry Creek Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Simpson County.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lige Lucky; three brothers, Clyde, Nelson and Gather Lucky, all of Magee; four sisters, Mrs. Clifton Davis and Mrs. Bob Parr, of New Orleans; Mrs. Harvey Jones of Magee and Mrs. Homer Frith, Raleigh.

Pall bearers were James Thomas Jones, Leo and Pete Lucky; James and Franklin Warren.
