Colon McBeth

Colon McBeth, 90, a retired farmer, died April 25 at Leake Memorial Hospital. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Randolph Scott officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

A native of Leake County, he was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as deacon.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jean McBeth, Carthage; three sons, Johnny McBeth, Aberdeen, Tommy McBeth, Carthage, and David McBeth, Brandon; three daughters, Alice Mills, Dora Mills and Renate McBeth, all of Carthage; one sister, Verla Callahan, Carthage, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
