C. C. Clark Dies At Downsville, Rites Held Friday
Last rites for C. C. Clark, 58, well known resident of Downsville, were held Friday.
Funeral services were conducted from the Downsville Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Douglas McGuire, pastor of Parkview Methodist Church in Shreveport officiating. He was assisted by Rev. I. A. Patton and Dr. S. E. McFadden. Burial was in Sibley cemetery.
Mr. Clark died at his home in Downsville on Thursday.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jessie Mae Clark; one son, Billy Mac Clark of Talullah, one daughter, Mrs. Mary Carolyn Hurley of Delhi; one brother, John W. Cark [sic Clark] of Monroe, and three sisters, Mrs. I. B. Hinton of Downsville, Mrs. Allie Mae Durbin of Calhoun and Mrs. Mary Lou Pettit of Monroe.
Pallbearers were Felix Camors, Johnny Clark, Billy Hinton, Max Johnston, Durwood McFarland, A. B. Cranford and Frank Ballard.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the board of stewards of the Downsville Methodist Church.
