Funeral arrangements set for Connie Ducote Patterson
PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) - Funeral arrangements have been set for Connie Ducote Patterson, the woman murdered last week in Pineville allegedly at the hands of Douglas Wayne Ponthieux, Sr. in a domestic violence incident, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff's Office.
Patterson's family has reached out to News Channel 5 to share those arrangements and invites all those who knew and loved her to attend.
Visitation will be at Rush Funeral Home in Pineville, Thursday, March 9 from 5-9 p.m. and will resume Friday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m. until time of the time of service at 10 a.m.
In an obituary posted on Rush Funeral Home, Patterson's family said she worked for many years at Po-Boy Express. The last seven years, she worked at Wendy's in Pineville and she also worked at Mac's Fresh Market. Patterson was a devoted Catholic. She loved Elvis and her canine companions.
