Mrs. Clarence R. Corley

Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence R. (Cora Bahnsen) Corley, 97, will be at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 3, in Hixson Funeral Home.

The Rev. Steve James will officiate. Burial will be in Orange Grove Cemetery.

Visitation is from noon.

Mrs. Corley died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2001, in a local hospital.

She was a native of Moss Lake and a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was retired head teller at First National Bank. She also worked for Muller's Department Store and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Dr. C.R. Corley Jr. of Lake Charles; one daughter, Carolyn Chafin of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Handbell Choir, the family said.
