Death Claims Mrs. K. L. Flowers, Formerly of Gaars Mill
Mrs. K. L. Flowers, 45 years of age, died Friday night at her home in Olla
after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were conducted at New Hope Church,
Winn Parish, Sunday afternoon with Rev. I. A. Patton of Monroe officiating.
Mrs. Flowers was the former Miss Cora Elliott, daughter of Mrs. George Elliott
of Dodson. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, two brothers, Alfred
Elliott of Gaars Mill and Rush Elliott of Jena; three sisters, Mrs. Morgan
Branch of Gaars Mill, Mrs. Monroe Flowers of Summerfield, and Mrs. Charles
Conn of Joyce, and her mother.
The deceased was a devout member of the Methodist Protestant Church.
