Mrs. Freeman Succumbs Here

Mrs. Cora Lee Freeman, 80, of 917 Prospect St., died at 3 p.m. Saturday in Schumpert Sanitarium after a week's illness.

She was a native of Woodbury [sic Woodberry], Ark., and had lived in Shreveport 48 years, moving from Jonesboro. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. W. R. Jacobs of El Dorado, Ark.; sisters, Mrs. Lena Sullivan, Alexandria, and Mrs. Docie Byars, Camden, Ark., and a grandson and great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Rose-Neath Chapel with the Rev. H. G. Buchanan, retired, officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Buvens, Oscar Kroll, Sid Hamilton, Bryan Freeman, Arthur Hudson and Paul Williams.
