Corbie J. ‘Pee Wee’ Addie

Graveside services for Corbie J. “Pee Wee” Addie, 77, of Liberty City will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at Rosewood Park with the Rev. Donald Beebe officiating. Entombment will be under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Addie died Friday evening, Sept. 25, 1998, at his residence. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today, Sept. 27, at the funeral home.

Born Jan. 21, 1921, in Ida, La., Mr. Addie was a resident of the Kilgore area most of his life. He worked in the oil field then later retired from Trinity Industries as a welder. He was a Baptist.

Mr. Addie is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Lee Addie of Liberty City; his son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie J. and Carlene Addie of Liberty City; his daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Bobby Mizell of Liberty City; his brothers, J.C. Addie of Nacogdoches and Larry Gene Emmons of Kilgore; his grandchildren, Patti McDonald, Kerri Jones, Genia Mizell, Ricky Addie and Tony Addie; and his great-grandchildren, Michael McDonald and Dalton Jones.
