Corene C. Keeler
Corene ``Ana'' (Cozby) Keeler, 91, died Wednesday evening at Jane Phillips
Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday on the family plot of the Sunset
Gardens Cemetery in Odessa, Texas, under the direction of the Neekamp
Funeral Home.
Honorary bearers will be Cary, Craig, and Chance Cozby, and Danny Swain.
Visitation is scheduled from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Neekamp Funeral
Home.
Memorials may be made to the Jane Phillips Hospital in care of Bluestem
Foundation, 3500 S.E. Frank Phillips Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Karole Cozby of
Bartlesville; a sister and brother-in-law, Jimmie and Floyd Salmon of
Arlington, Texas; and three grandsons.

Corene C. Keeler
Mrs. Corene ``Ana'' Cozby Keeler, 91 year old mother of Jerry Cozby died
Wednesday evening, January 8, 2003, at Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Mrs. Keeler was born on June 10, 1911 in Gorman, Texas, the daughter of
James E. and Essie Vivian (McDaniel) Loughry. She received her formal
education in Eliasville, Texas graduating with the Class of 1929. She and
Steve L. Cozby were united in marriage in 1933 in Eliasville. They made
their home in Odessa, where Mr. Cozby worked for Gulf Oil Pipeline Company
until his retirement in 1973. Mr. Cozby preceded her in death in 1975. She
married Doyle Keeler in 1977 and they made their home in Brownwood, TX.
Mr. Keeler preceded her in death in 1997. She moved to Bartlesville to
near her family in 1997. She was a member of the First United Methodist
Church and attended services at Green Country Village. She was very active
in the church's in Odessa and Brownwood. She was very helpful with
volunteer organizations especially the Lion's Club in Brownwood.
Mrs. Keeler is survived by her son, Jerry Cozby and wife Karole of
Bartlesville; a sister, Jimmie Salmon and husband Floyd of Arlington, TX;
and three grandsons, Cary Cozby and wife Staci of Wichita, KS, Craig Cozby
and wife Cassie of Norman, OK, and Chance Cozby and wife Erica of
Scottsdale, AZ. Both her husbands, parents, two brothers, Virgil and Bill
Loughry, and a sister Dora Craighead Preceded her in death.
Graveside services for Mrs. Keeler will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January
13, on the family plot of the Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Odessa, TX. A
visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m.
at the Neekamp Funeral Home. Honorary bearers will be Cary, Craig, and
Chance Cozby, and Danny Swain. Burial and
arrangements are under the direction of the Neekamp Funeral Home of
Bartlesville.
A Memorial has been established in Mrs. Keeler's name with the Jane
Phillips Hospital. Those wishing to remember her may do so in care of
Bluestem Foundation, 3500 S.E. Frank Phillips Blvd., Bartlesville, OK
74006.
