CORINE L. THOMAS

BENSON - Mrs. Corine Lee Raynor Thomas, 89, 9328 Strickland's Crossroads Road, died Monday at Smithfield Manor in Smithfield. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home chapel, Benson. Revs. Billy Keene and Henry Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Church Cemetery. Mrs. Thomas was born June 5, 1910 in Harnett County to the late Perry and Nancy McLamb Lee. She was married to the late Parlie Raynor and after his death, married the late C. Blake Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was also preceded in death by her son Corbett Lee ``C.L.'' Raynor.

She was a homemaker and a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church and the Mattie Beasley Society. Surviving: include grandchildren Cathy R. Callis of Four Oaks, Debbie R. Wood of Benson, Cindy R. Alston of Four Oaks; great-grandchildren Trevy Lee Barefoot, Ron C. Wood, R. Shane Raynor, Gina B. Barbour, Amy D. Wood and Cierra Nicole Austin; three great-great-grandchildren, Julia Lee Barefoot, Natalie Nicole Raynor and Aaron Scott Raynor.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at other times at the home of Ronald and Debbie Wood, 9360 Strickland's Crossroads Road, Benson. Flowers are welcomed, however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
