RITES ARE HELD FOR LOUISIANAN

Mrs. Manton Lee Was Charter Member of East McComb Baptist

Last rites for Mrs. Manton Lee, 87-year-old charter member of the East McComb Baptist church, were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in that church by the pastor, the Rev. W. A. Gill.

Burial was in Hollywood cemetery under the direction of Hartman funeral home.

Active pallbearers were Clarence, Clyde, Richard, Arthur Jones, William Baily Jr. and Claude Barlow, all grandsons.

Mrs. Lee died about 4 p.m. Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. William M. Bailey Sr., in Baton Rouge, La., where she has been living the last five years.

Surviving besides the daughter in Baton Rouge are one son, K. R. Lee of Washington, D. C.; one other daughter, Mrs. C. G. Jones of New Orleans; and 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
