COURTNEY CHILDERS

Funeral services for Courtney Childers, 21, of West Monroe, who was killed Thursday, will be held today at 2:30 at the Ridge Avenue Baptist Church, of which he was a member.

Childers was killed when he fell 75 feet from a power line pole near Leesville.

Survivors are his father, Fred C. Childers; two brothers, Fred C. Childers, Jr. of Miami and Milton Childers of West Monroe; one sister, Merlene Childers, of West Monroe.

The funeral will be under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Courtney Childers, 21 (above) of West Monroe will be held today. He was killed when he fell from a pole near Leesville, Thursday. He was working 75 feet aloft when he fell while working during the frigid weather accompanying the servere ice and snow. He was a navy veteran.
