C. V. Crain Rites Today
Funeral services will be held Thursday for Creston Verlon Crain, 59, of 700 W. 70th St., who died at 9 p.m. Tuesday in Schumpert Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Crain was a retired bakery products salesman. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of Lowe-McFarlane Post No. 14 of the American Legion.
He is survived by one brother, C. R. Crain of Shreveport; six sisters, Mrs. C. F. Puckett of Pineville, Mrs. Roy Gaar of Dodson, Mrs. E. C. Monroe of West Monroe, Mrs. Ralph Talbot of Monroe, Mrs. W. O. Byrd of Boulder, Colo., and Mrs. Herschel Kidd of Minden.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. in Rose-Neath Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Trussell, pastor of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park.
Pallbearers will be M. G. Crain, R. D. Crain, Ross Crain, G. H. Crain, Billy H. Kidd and J. G. Gaar.
