Curry ``Red'' J. Armand

CURRY J. ARMAND passed away on October 13, 2008. Affectionately known as ``Red'' to friends and ``Pop'' to his family was born in Evergreen, Louisiana on May 13, 1933. After serving 4 years in the Air Force, Red moved to Houston where he met and married his wife, Shirley. He retired from Cameron Iron Works after 40 years of service. Red enjoyed painting, woodworking, fishing, and doting on his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Shirley; his children Vicky Henley, Douglas Armand, and Stewart Armand, 4 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2008 in the chapel at Woodlawn Funeral Home.
