Funeral services for Curtis J. Lee, age 88, of Ruston will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Ruston, LA. Dr. Andrew Johnson assisted by Dr. Chris Craig of First Baptist Church will be officiating. Interment will follow in Bernice City Cemetery in Bernice, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mr. Lee died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Princeton Place Nursing Home from complications of Parkinson Disease. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ruston and retired from Monsanto Chemical Company after 32 years. Mr. Lee was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Helen Flurry Lee.

Survivors include his devoted wife of 11 years Ruth Ellen Sumlin Lee; sons, Jim Lee and Yvette Lee of Belle Rose, LA; Dennis Lee and wife Beth Lee of Florida; Steve Lee and wife Allison Lee of Ruston; stepson, Thomas Sumlin and wife Becky; stepdaughter, Katharine Howey and husband Walt; stepson, John Sumlin and wife Karen; 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and 7 step-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Lee, Nicholas Buckley, Christopher Buckley, Jackie Green, Billie Green, and Johnny Green. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of his Sunday school class at First Baptist Church.

The family would like to thank Princeton Place Nursing Home and their dedicated staff for the care they gave him.

Memorials may be made to the Sojourn Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Ruston or the National Parkinson Foundation in his memory.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until services start at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Ruston.
