BOSSIER CITY, LA. - Services for Mr. Curtis L. Hunter, 76, of Bossier City will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at Rose-Neath's Bossier Chapel with Dr. Damon Vaughn, pastor of Airline Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be at Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Hunter died Saturday, January 25, 1986, at Bossier Medical Center following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Monticello, Ark, and had been a resident of Bossier City since 1942. He was retired from Illinois Central Railroad, where he was an Engineer for 32 years. He was a member of Airline Baptist Church and a member of the Brotherhood of Engineers & Firemen.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Flora Wells Hunter of Bossier City; four daughters, Mrs. Erma Todd of Bossier City, Mrs. Julia Holcomb of Dallas, Mrs. Anne Woods of Huntsville, Ala., Mrs. Martha Stewart of Robbinsville, New Jersey; three brothers, Willie Hunter of Shreveport, James Hunter of Rayville, La., A.J. Hunter of Austin, Texas; eight grandchildren, Linda Wilson, Jan Todd, Tracy Cornwel[l], Jenifer Ritter, Sandra Barletto, Douglas Ritter, Jeffrey Stewart, Jason Stewart; five great-grandchildren, Nicole Wilson, Laura Cornewell, Justin Aycock, Thomas Wilson, Clifton Todd; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: J. R. Ahlers, James Gould, Al Gray, Bobby Johnson, A.H. Teague, Cooksey Humphrey.
