CURTIS E. MUSGROVE

Death claimed the life of Curtis E. Musgrove, 55, Grandview Drive, Laurel, Friday night in a Mobile hospital. He had been ill over a long period of time.

Mr. Musgrove, a long-time resident of Laurel, was a butcher for Help Your Self stores, and a member of Temple Baptist Church.

The body arrived in Laurel Saturday morning and was carried to Thompson Funeral Home.

Funeral services are set tentatively for Sunday afternoon from the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Grover Laird officiating.

Burial will be in Hickory Grove cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mattie V. Musgrove, Laurel; one daughter, Mrs. Doris Bush, Laurel; three grandchildren; mother, Mrs. Minnie Musgrove, Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Mrs. B. J. Mathis, Laurel; and Mrs. Georgia Rowell, Mobile; a brother, Woodrow Musgrove, Laurel.

Thompson Funeral Home is in charge.

CURTIS E. MUSGROVE

Funeral services for Curtis E. Msugrove [sic Musgrove], 55 Laurel butcher who died in a Mobile hospital Friday, were held Monday, 2 p.m., from Thompson Funeral Home, with Rev. O. O. Graham officiating.

Burial was in Hickory Grove cemetery.

In addition to the survivors listed Saturday are two half-sisters, Mrs. A. C. Wascom, Bogalusa, La.; and Mrs. Mary Martino, New Orleans, La.

Pallbearers at the service were Carl Johnson, O. M. Hankins, M. N. Thompson, Herman Hill, Luke Crump and Curtis Cullens.
