Mrs. Ed. Landrum Dies Tuesday Eve At the Hospital

Mrs. Ed. Landrum, wife of the well known Laurel blacksmith, died at the Jesse Gates hospital last evening at five o'clock, following an operation. The deceased was forty-seven years old and is survived by her husband and two children. One son is a member of the First Mississippi regiment at Jackson, and is in Laurel today. The funeral will take place this evening from the family home in Cross street and interment will be at Crottstown, Rev. L. G. Gates officiating.
