Dunn, D. F., was mustered into Confederate Service on May 17, 1861, as a
    private in Company I, 3d Louisiana. Private Dunn was captured at Pea Ridge
    on March 8, confined at Alton, and exchanged on May 19, 1862. He was
    promoted to corporal in January 1863 and was a sergeant by the time he was
    surrendered and paroled at Vicksburg in July. In March 1864, he was at the
    Natchitoches camp for exchange, and he was paroled a second time at Monroe
    on June 13, 1865.

Dunn, T. J., was mustered into Confederate Service on May 17, 1861, as a
    private in Company I, 3d Louisiana. He was captured at Pea Ridge on March
    7 and exchanged on May 19, 1862. Private Dunn was killed in the Vicksburg
    rifle-pits on May 21, 1863.
