D. C. VICKERS

Funeral services for D. C. (Doc) Vickers, 30, of 3123 Holly street, who died in a local sanitarium Friday afternoon, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the Osborn funeral home. The Rev. W. H. Sims will officiate and interment will be in the Forest Park cemetery. The remains will be held at the Osborn funeral home until the hour of the service.

The deceased was employed by Big Chain grocery stores for several years.

He is survived by the widow; one daughter, Katie Lynn Vickers; three brothers, Sid of Hemphill, Texas, J. J. of Houston, Texas, C. H. of Shreveport; two sisters, Anne Ruth Vickers of Hemphill, Texas, and Mrs. J. A. Jolley of Shreveport.

The following, who were workers with Mr. Vickers at the Big Chain stores, will act as pallbearers: M. J. Kennedy, F. M. Thornton, W. H. Peterson, H. W. Bruce, J. F. Parker, H. B. Badt, Julian Alford and Matthew Catanese.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. E. Scott, Dr. E. Galloway, N. S. Laird, Dr. A. V. Young, L. H. Galatas, Melvin Rhodes, D. W. Dowd and all other employes of the Big Chain stores.
