WHITTINGTON, DALE A.
Died at 12:45 p.m. Monday. He was 60, a native of Gloster, Miss., and a resident of East Feliciana Parish for the past 30 years. Body at Charlet Funeral Home, Clinton, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Burial in New Hope Methodist Protestant Cemetery, Gloster.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Winnie Davis Day Whittington, Slaughter; two sons, Robert C. and Douglas W. Whittington, both of Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Hazel W. Benning [sic Binning], Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Wilhelmina Jones, New Iberia; five sisters, Mrs. Ottomise Williams, Nashville, Tenn., Mrs. Bernice Whittington, Liberty, Miss., Mrs. Lena Jones and Mrs. Elaine Tegre, both of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Louise Daigle, Collins, Miss.; two brothers, Robert H. and Earl B. Whittington, both of Baton Rouge, nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the New Hope Methodist Protestant Church, Gloster.
