DALTON T. WHIGHAM
Dalton T. Whigham, 93, of Laurel, died Friday, Jan. 8, 1999, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, with burial in Crestview Cemetery in Laurel. The Rev. Ken Regan and Dr. W. Lavon Moore will officiate.
He was retired from Laurel Machine and Foundry and was a member of Second Avenue Baptist Church in Laurel, where he was a deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle Whigham of Laurel; three daughters, June Varner of Houston, Texas, Nan Broadhead of Petal and Brenda Lawrence of Laurel; six grandchildren, Brenda Nichols of Houston, Texas, Scott Varner of Ft. Worth, Texas, Kelly Russell, Chris Broadhead and Melissa Tolbert, all of Petal and Michael Weems of Lancaster, Calif.; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Homer Boutwell, Jimmy Webb, Stan Herrington, Roger Wade, David Wolgamott and Dale Bolling.
Visitation will be from 5:30-9 p.m today, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of arrangements.
