Damon ‘Rusty’ Whitten
Funeral services for Damon “Rusty” Whitten, 69, of Winnsboro were held Saturday at
the Mulhearn Funeral Home Chapel in Rayville with the Rev. Bo Horne officiating.
Interment followed in New Salem Cemetery in Girard under the direction of Mulhearn
Funeral Home of Rayville.
Mr. Whitten died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998 at Franklin Medical Center in Winnsboro.
Survivors include Orell Z. Wiggins, Winnsboro; one sister, Bobbie Hollingsworth, Monroe; [one brother,]
Billy Whitten, Start; numerous nieces and nephews.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
