Damone Scott Tabor

DERIDDER -- Damone Scott Tabor, 36, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2002, in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Shreveport and grew up in Bossier City, where he was a graduate of Parkway High School. He was employed as a roustabout for Noble Drilling and was formerly employed as a paint foreman with Mallard Construction. He was a member of Beckwith Baptist Church in DeRidder.

Survivors are his son, Andrew; one brother and sister-in-law, Heath and Jackie Tabor of Lake Charles; three stepbrothers, Mark Tabor of Coolidge, Ariz., Steve Tabor of Globe, Ariz., and Mike Tabor of Shreveport; his parents, Bill and Fontaine Tabor of DeRidder; and his maternal grandmother, Wanda Seale of DeRidder.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 3, in Labby Memorial Funeral Home. The Revs. Rick Stucke and Tom Stucke will officiate. Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery near DeRidder. Visitation is from 1 p.m. Friday.
