Died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 1979, at Earl K. Long Memorial Hospital. He was 42, a native and former resident of Amite County, Miss., and a resident of Baton Rouge.
Body at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, Miss., until service time Saturday. Memorial services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Galilee Baptist Church, Gloster, Miss., conducted by the Rev. Reggie Foreman. Burial in Roseland Cemetery.
Survived by his wife, Mrs. Elaine Miller, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Vickie Sykes and Mrs. Delores Pool, both of Gloster; two sons, Barry Miller and DeWayne Nettles Jr., both of Baton Rouge; mother, Mrs. Bertie [sic Byrdie] Miller, Baton Rouge; four brothers, Doyle Miller, Baton Rouge, Lanous [sic Lannis] Miller, Baton Rouge, Bobby Miller, Wilson, and Lemoine [sic Lemoyne] Miller, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren.
He was a member of the Galilee Baptist Church and Teamster Local No. 5.
