Daniel Fletcher Harrington

Daniel Fletcher Harrington, 68, of 1321 St. Joseph's Circle, Greenville, died early Sunday morning at King's Daughters Hospital after an illness.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Landrum and Dr. Perry Claxton officiating. Burial was to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

National Funeral Home had charge.

Mr. Harrington was born in Magee and was educated in Magee public schools. He moved to McGehee, Ark. in 1930 and married Lucille Lee in 1933. In 1939, he moved to Greenville with the Robert O. May Co., where he was employed for 17 years. From 1955 until 1957, he resided in Indianola. In 1957, he returned to Greenville.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church and for many years was active in church activities.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Lee Harrington of Greenville; two sons, Douglas Fletcher Harrington of Panama City, Fla. and Daniel Lee Harrington of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Jordan C. Harrington of Greenville and Isom Harrington of Magee; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Hughes of Crystal Springs and Mrs. Myrtle Stoopes of Orlando, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

The family asks that any memorials be sent to the First Baptist Church building fund.
