Horace McCarty

SHREVEPORT

Services for Mr. Horace McCarty, 76, of Shreveport, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday May 13 at Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel. Dr. D. L. Dykes, Pastor of First United Methodist Church, where he was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.

He died at 9:30 p.m. Monday May 11, 1981 at Schumpert Medical Center. Mr. McCarty, a retired Assistant Superintendent of Mails of the Post Office, after 44 years of service, was a member of Industrial Supervisors Assn., N.A.R.F.E. and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Horace McCarty of Shreveport; two daughters, Kathy M. Poss, Shreveport, Patricia A. Morris, Huntsville, Ala.; seven grandchildren; several nieces an[d] nephews.
