Services for Daniel M. Roberts were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2001 in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clovis Sturdivant officiating. Burial followed in the Garden of Memories under the direction of Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, LA.

Mr. Roberts, age 90 of Winnfield, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 in the Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield, LA. He was retired form [sic from] the City or [sic of] Winnfield as a Plant Operator, and was a member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church in Winnfield, LA.

Survivors are two daughters, Sue Gilcrease and Dana Roberts, both of Katy, TX; one sister, Myrtis Slaughter of Winnfield LA; two grandchildren, Todd Gilcrease of Montgomery, TX and Dr. Susan Roberman and her husband Dr. Larry Roberman of College Station, TX; and two great grandchildren, Suzy Roberman and Jamie Roberman.

Pallbearers were: Todd Gilcrease, Dr. Larry Roberman, Tommy Bankston, Truett Holcomb, Tommy Straughn, and Eugene Edmonds.
