Dan McDaniel, 95, Succumbs
FARMERVILLE (Special) -- Dan P. McDaniel, 95, of Downsville, died in a local clinic early Monday after a long illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Downsville Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. I. A. Patton and the Rev. Ardis Smith officiating and the Rev. Rubert Coles and the Rev. Brady Forman officiating.
Interment will be in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery near Downsville.
Mr. McDaniel was a retired farmer.
Survivors include four sons, Jessie and Cleave McDaniel, both of Calhoun; Arthur and Fred McDaniel, both of Downsville; four daughters, Mrs. Ledger Williams and Mrs. M. J. Foster, both of Calhoun; Mrs. C. W. Johnston of West Monroe, and Mrs. J. R. Simpson, of Bossier City; 29 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
