DARWIN AUDRY DULANEY

Services for Darwin Audry Dulaney, age 75 of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 4, 2005 from the Chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Don DeLukie officiating. Interment will follow in the Dulaney Cemetery near Sikes.

Mr. Dulaney was born in Sikes on April 22, 1930 to the union of Floyd and Ruby Smith Dulaney and died Friday, September 30, 2005 at his residence in West Monroe.

He was a retired building contractor and a salesman with Rack Services where he worked for over seventeen years. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served in the Navy. He served as a Church of Christ minister for many years and was currently a member of the Jackson Street Church of Christ. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife: Doris Gustafson Dulaney of West Monroe, his son and daughter-in-law: Dewayne and Mary Dulaney of Carlisle, AR, his daughter and son-in-law: Denise and Ricky Hayes of Austin, TX, his grandchildren: Joshua Allen Hayes and his wife: Angela and Audrey Rebecca Hayes, his brother and sister-in-law: Jimmy and Melba Dulaney of West Monroe, his sister and brother-in-law: Jean and Godfrey Whitten of Grayson and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Dixon Dulaney, Joseph Dulaney, Harold Dulaney, Lance Dulaney, Gil Broussard and Leonard Rhodes.

Honorary pallbearers are Travis Ward and Donald Dulaney.

Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia.
