WHITTINGTON, DAVID CECIL
A resident of Prairieville, he died at 10:28 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, 1997, at his residence. He was 77 and a native of Franklin, Miss. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. Dwayne Rogers. Interment in Beech Ridge Cemetery.
Survived by three daughters, Cynthia Hernandez, Lillie Johnson and Elsie Broussard; two sons, David L. Whittington and Frank Cecil Whittington; two sisters, Nellie Flynn and Estell Causey; 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by wife, Frances Whittington; parents, William Hardy and Lillie Whittington; a daughter, Janice Whittington; and a son, Bill Whittington.
