Services for Mr. David Lee “Patches” Martin, 58, of West Monroe, LA will be at 10:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2002 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel, West Monroe with Rev. Richard Poss officiating. Interment will be at Wilhite Cemetery, Wilhite under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Martin died Saturday, October 12, 2002 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Martin was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator and a member of Local #406 Operating Engineers.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Brunson Martin of West Monroe, LA; two sons, David Lee Martin, Jr. of West Monroe, LA; and Kevin Martin and wife Kissie of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Cathy Martin of Farmerville, LA; mother, Minnie Bell Rawls of West Monroe, LA; brother, Joe Martin and wife Bebe of Calhoun, LA; sister, Louise Heath of West Monroe, LA; two grandchildren, Brandon Martin and Kellie Martin; two step children, Kelly Barkley of Monroe, LA, and Wendy Brunson Holton of Shreveport, LA; four step grandchildren, Jeffrey, Jarrid, Jackie, and Ryan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
