David Masters

NATCHEZ - Funeral services for David Masters, 59, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Glen Harrigil and the Rev. Gaylon Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in LaSalle Parish, La. under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Masters was born Aug. 19, 1944, in Ferriday, La., the son of Johnny Osa and Blanche Ivey Masters. He was a Vietnam veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Masters of Natchez; mother, Blanche Jones of Tallulah, La.,; sister, Sissy Chunn of Bastrop, La.; brothers, Wayne Masters of Bastrop and Johnny Masters of Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gary Ballard, Andy Britt, Mark Ford, Bubby Hutchins, Tobe Roberts and Tooter Massey. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Masters and Travis Masters.
